They’re still looking for casualities apparently. Reports vary on how many dead, how many injured, but the current count is at least 5. Memories of Hungerford come flooding back…already people saying that the gunman “seemed a very normal person”.
Nothing else to say but RIP those who died and speedy recovery to those that are injured.

2 June, 2010 at 7:01 pm #441385Perhaps if more of the population were armed rather than criminals or the police this could have been nipped in the bud quicker.
Yes I know that some accidents would happen too, but the public in the UK are not trusted by those in power either. (possibly with good reason)

Certaintly not nowadays, people seem to be unable to behave in moderate ways, as for derrick bird, horrific and i feel for everyone that died and who were injured, but what kind of mess can someone be in to appear totally normal then do this, certainly no one in their right mind surely.
2 June, 2010 at 8:12 pm #441389poli dont even go there , this is too close to home for me , i know the innocent ppl that lay dead in the streets , farmer workin his fields , i know there families , we all know each other here , this community is a family , we leave our doors unlocked here , this doesnt happen to us , dnt start defending that fkin scum bag , i hope hes burning in hell
2 June, 2010 at 8:18 pm #441390I don’t think anyone is defending him but something snapped, that’s no excuse but this man wasn’t in his right mind when he did what he did. The family’s of those killed have to live with this for the rest of their lives and our prayers and sympathy should go out to them.
2 June, 2010 at 8:33 pm #441391he managed to evade police for 3 hours and kill 12 and wound 25 without being caught , so he fkin knew wot he was doing
