I’m sorry, I’m bored. Whilst having a rare look through the nether regions of JC, I noticed this and my pedant’s alarm went off like a couple of banjos at a Cajun family get together.
When Hadrian’s Wall was built, there was no England because there were no Angles in Britain – they completely failed to turn up for another three hundred odd years. Similarly, there were no Scots or Scotland outside of northern Ireland, in its geographic sense.
Rather, Vallum Hadriani was built to separate Britons, in this case the Brigantes, from their more unruly neighbours the Caledonian tribes, in this case the Selgovae, and Picts.
Sorry to interrupt the flow of what seems a marvellous quiz. Good show. :D
Yes the question should quite clearly have read ” Which wall was built to seperate the Brigantes from the Selgovae and Picts”

If all you’re doing is cutting and pasting off a quiz site, why don’t you save yourself some bother and just post the link? Or, alternatively, choose a quiz site where the questions haven’t been written by divots. Cheerio. :D
