    Hi all

    The Emergency Rescue Corps (ERC) Volunteer Engineers request your help

    Due to comments made to the ERC team by certain members of the UK public, with reference to the possible cost to the taxpayers for the rescue of the Whale in the River Thames.

    The purpose of this survey is to asses the amount of understanding people have as to how the Volunteer Rescue Teams fund their Operational Rescues.

    Its short and sweet (5) five questions only.

    Q1: Did you know there are over 20 Volunteer Rescue Organisations in the UK

    Q2: Did you know there are well over 100 Volunteer Rescue Teams in the UK

    Q3: Did you know they are  ‘NOT’ Government funded.

    Q4: Did you think they were all privately (Charity) funded.

    Q5: Do you think they they should be collectively given more national recognition.

    An idea from Peco who suggested we make information available so people can visit the team websites, this we have now done at the top of the page.
