not sure on this one, on the one hand i cried buckets at the birth of each of my children. But i have this mate who is very emotional and cries ALOT i find this rather awkward at times esp is its a stupid thing he is weeping about take that breaking up the first time around is one example.

It depends on why you’re crying. I disagree with the idea that men shouldn’t cry; bottling up emotion isn’t good for you, whatever your gender, and I wouldn’t call a man namby pamby for expressing his emotions. I’d rather see a man cry and getting the emotion out of his sytem than see him bottle it up and making himself ill or, worse, exploding in anger and lashing out at others as an emotional release instead.

Maybe some men would be better off having a cry at the end of a relationship then move on than wallowing in self-pity then trying to destroy the ex and lashing out at others…just a thought…

Men should only cry when kicked in the bollocks. Any other time and their masculinity has to be questioned.

Dont think its a question of not liking a man when he crys
more a case of why he is …

No more beer in the fridge ?
Fav football team has lost ?
    Football game cancelled ?
    Kicked in the knackers ?
Best mate gets married  ?

All of the above are unacceptable reasons to cry :D

I think it takes a ‘man’ to cry – if he is male, that is!
