today I have been nominated to count stock in a walk in freezer
Ive got my thermals on and my fluffy socks (nothing else)
I can only be in 5 mins at a time
then I have to emerge and be cuddled by the managerthe rest of the staff are threateningto lock me in
if I never post again they succeeded
(dont anyone say it!!!!!)
yes i do! I have the most rewarding, fullfilling and happiest job in the world! Ok its tough too, some days are a challenge but i wouldnt change it for the world!

I have challenges – getting the chilled delivery out in 20 mins
I have rewards – every four weeks
I have responsibilities – devouring the stock of chocolate eclairs
I care for people – showing the blind old lady where the loose tea is and making sure she leaves with a smile
I nurture careers – telling the junior staff how great life will be at university

I have good days and bad days, very challenging, very little monetory gain, often thanked, more often assaulted and insulted because other peoples messy lives are infact MY fault.
I love the people I work with though, and for that I wouldnt change it.
Term time working is the nuts too. :wink:
