    For Thee Only

Upon my brow, I feel your kiss
    Tender warmth, eternal bliss
A rose for thee I plant alone
To keep you here as my own
I feel your soul though miles apart
I hold thee here dear in my heart
Upon your image, I feast my eyes
Then meet you in my paradise
I feel your sensous lips on mine
Then taste the precious fruit of vine
In some dimention, one day we’ll meet
Only then will I be complete

    Mr Amphibian

    From day to day
    He does what he oughter
    Travels on the land
    Breeds in the water

    In stream or pond
    Or maybe a bog
    A newt , a toad
    Or croaking frog

    An ugly creature
    His sight makes you winch
    If you dare, kiss him
    He becomes a prince

    No one dares
    So he looks all forlorn
    Just doing what’s natural
    Producing the spawn

William I disagree – that’s actually pretty good! Lighter and much better than your usual gibberish. You should stick to this sort of stuff as it entertains!

    Souls Journey

I settle down and close my eyes
My soul floats up towards the skies
I drift along upon the breeze
To smell the blossoms on the trees
Towards the storm then I rush
    Through clouds dark grey nimbus
Then as I drift on past the moon
I know I will be with you soon
Over mountain , round rivers bend
A gust of wind at journeys end
I smell the scent ,that says your there
Of a single rose that’s in your hair
Reach out to touch your finger tips
Then place a kiss upon your lips

    Jane Thomas

    To Jane

Do not be fooled by this woman’s name
For she was far from drab and plain
This wonderful lady from a caribbean isle
Who always wore a big broad smile
    Always giving , always sharing
Full of kindness , forever caring
Why she was taken in this way
Only the lord above can say
But in heaven she has taken her place
At the Lords top table she will surely grace

    Author’s Comments:
“Jane was a colleague , one evening when leaving work, she got out of her car thinking something was wrong, she had not put the hand brake on , the car careered forward squashing Jane ,she died instantly”

Billy Bear #3 ( Billy joins a football club)

    For Children

    Billy and his friends
    Join a local football team
    To play for their country
    Is every bears dream

    Strawberry Field Colts
    Coach is Mr Treasure
    Who says fun before results
    Without any pressure

    They train at Bruin Park
    Tuesday and Thursday night
    They wear team colours
    Of emerald and white

    Billy plays in goal
    He can dive and catch
    Mr Treasure says
He’s the safest hands in the batch

    Wendy is in midfield
    Cause she’s sharp and alert
    She looks a picture
In her emerald and white shirt

    Jake is a striker
    He scores goals for fun
    He’s good with both feet
    Boy can he run

    Today is a big day
    Its their first league game
They look at the team sheet
    To see their name

    There’s Billy, Tommy
    Wendy and Sam
    Then Joey, Kate
    Jake and Dan

    The game is against
    Dewbury Town
    After two minutes
    Colts go one down

    Don’t be disheartened
    No one is to blame
    Lift up your heads
    And play your best game

    Try as they may
    They just could not score
    With two minutes to go
    Came the biggest roar

For with a very smart dive
    And a really good flick
    Young Billy had saved
    A penalty kick

    When the final whistle blew
    With a loud shrill
    Dewbury Town one
    Strawberry fields nil

    They all gave three cheers
    And said well done
    Both winners and losers
    Had had lots of fun

    Played in good spirit
    To finish from start
    Everyone is a winner
    And should take good heart
