Ive kinda looked at Spain as the comparison to England but Husband disagrees totally. So had a few bitter discussions over that cos at the end of the day he is supporting the krauts purely for Ballack, and reckons I should chill out over my hatred of ever supporting Germany…..

germany are a solid team, they do enough to win, they know how to win, just like Italy, Argintina, Brazil, they are part of the big 4 who just like to win regardless of tallet, Look at the germany squad, its not all that great but the confidence is just so spot on, they fear no one because they know they will win, they play well as a team no matter who is in the team
its been Spains, Englands, Portugals downfall, thats why I feel Germany will win it, I can predict Spain having the better chances, however, Germany will win it through a set peice somewhere around the 70-80 min mark

Football won tonight innit, what a refreshing change. Well deserved, well played. I felt sorry for Lehman, he was the only player worth mentioning in the krauts side, man of the match for me.
We have loads of fireworks going off round here, I didnt know we had any spanish living near, but its very nice.
I wouldnt mind being on holiday in Spain right now, how cool would that be?
