Is this the end of F2 as i know it, for a number of years i come and go and it was what you would think to be a typical F2 chat room! Now it seams dead, or is it?
24 September, 2012 at 7:12 pm #508155I think the end is very near for f2…………..shame really as it used to be the best forum once upon a time

I’ll have Gareth Barry waiting for you

Years ago F2 was THE place to be and now …. now … well, it’s not.
I migrated to F2 when they closed F4 – there’s nowhere left to go
28 September, 2012 at 2:07 pm #508159Just a thought but if everyone who says they miss f2 actually went in there, it would soon be thriving again.
28 September, 2012 at 2:39 pm #508160I think we have – I’m there now and there’s 6 of us
28 September, 2012 at 2:51 pm #508161That’s 6 more than there have been recently :D
29 September, 2012 at 1:36 pm #508162When I’ve been in the rooms recently, F2 opens up mid to late evening and keeps going to about 2 in the morning as long as there’s a couple of talkative, pushy prats who talk to anyone, including the lurkers. I, of course, am just that kind of prat.
I pop on every now and then. It’s fun cos we draw the unsuspecting into some of the most random experiences of their lives. Setting up Bread Club (first rule of Bread Club is don’t talk about Bread Club) and writing a song for a special late night F2 band, complete with a new Bez, are just the sort of activities that make for the kind of unique and scary experience that probably has most people reaching for the off button.
(Just realising that most the over the top random might just be me.)
It is true, however, that a good night in F2, free from the family threats in F3 and the shoutiness of F1 (brought to you by the words D*ck and Suck), is a rare but uplifting experience. Six or eight people are a crowd, but what the hell?
