From WHISTLE DOWN THE WIND when all the village children come marching to visit ‘Jesus’ [actually an escaped convict] hiding in a barn. So poignant..I’ve seen this film so often I know it off by heart..but I don’t think I’ll ever tire of it..and anyway..I always fancied actor Alan Bates…hence my other favourite scene from a movie..

From FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD…every scene with Alan Bates as Gabriel Oak. This also being an adaptation from a novel by my favourite author Thomas Hardy..it’s a double whammy. :D

You almost had me worried there for a minute Owen. I was happy to see it wasn’t the “Squeal Like a Piggy” scene. I do admit – The old man getting jiggy with was pretty classic.

One of mine would be from the movie Tombstone.
When Billy said to Doc Holiday:
“You’re so Drunk, you’re probably seeing two of me”
    Doc Holiday:
“I’ve got two guns, one for each of ya”
