Firefox and forums

How do. I have recently downloaded firefox but this seems to prevent me from logging in here. At the moment I’m on a different computer using IE to try and ask the boffins of the forum to help!

Any ideas?

Not a geek or dweeb but I had something similar….got the latest firefox upgrade and couldn’t sign in here or some other places I go that use Java. Uninstalled and reinstalled Java and all ok again…..worth a try until someone comes up with a better solution.

Maybe this is a bit too obvious …… but why not continue using Internet Explorer for your chatroom etc experience?

It comes ‘bundled’ with Windows so you won’t have uninstalled it when you installed Firefox.

Sometimes, for reasons best known to itself, Explorer will get incredibly slow at loading pages on my pc….that’s when I like to change to Firefox. Nice to have a choice…..

Defeats the whole object of downloading a new web browser but hey ho here i am on IE – just for Just chat.

I havent used IE for years, it was always so slow to load pages on my pc, so I changed over to Firefox and have used it ever since.
Damned it I can understand why it wont let you into here though! :shock:

Very unusual – I have been using Firefox for the past two years and haven’t had any issues using it to log in here or at any other websites.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? What exactly happens when you try to log in?
