why does my moniter flicker , is it i have too many windows open at once ( 7 ) is it the weather outside or is it my puter ??? :(

21 January, 2007 at 8:48 am #257284Alternatively UGO, perhaps there is a loose connection inside your monitor which is reacting to vibrations of a repetitive and oscillating nature.
Try keeping both hands on the keyboard and see if this resolves your issue.

CRT Monitor = 70Mz
TFT LCD Monitor = 60Mz
If this don’t help what graphics are you using on board or graphics card do you need to update your drivers or move to more stable ones ? also check your VGA or DVI cable and connectors, if your using a graphics card if you post the make, model and driver No, and OS i will see if i can find you a more stable drivers.

been through all of this with shindig but apparently i cant alter my refresh rate , as theres no option but it was only doing it when I was in a chatroom , I dont go in them anymore much & its stopped so everything ok , but thanks …. :D -
