    Trapper,

following on your discussion earlier in this thread about attacks in the UK,

John Sawers, who recently retired as head of MI6, writes in my paper that Germany and the UK are likely to be the next target – which is why the German football match with Merkel present was cancelled yesterday.

The reason is that people (like you) are playing right into ISIS hands.

They are more than a death cult – they are a very clever political group whihc uses terror to get their objectives.

Sawers argues that they want to whip up anti-Muslim feeling, and Merkel is their chief target because she is friendly to the refugees. If they can get the Crusading atmosphere whereby Moslems can see how heartless the West is, where anti-refugee feeling is whipped up, then they have won. An attack on the UK – which the security services have already desribed as highly likely – would cause severe tensions in UK society, where there are a large number of Moslems.

Sarkozy in France wants to electronically tag 11,000 French citizens who are possible suspects, and raids on the poorest areas of Brussels have angered the people there – houses broken en masse for few and in some areas no arrests have angered the people.
In Bavaria, Hungary, Poland, the refugees are directly blamed for the slaughter of innocents in Paris.

IS are playing people (and the UKIP-type group on these boards is just a tiny sample) like a violin. Let’s not give them the victory, hey?

Sorry to disappoint you scep …. I made no comment to the personal remarks because in the main there is no need & I tend to let that sort of thing go over my “stupid” head.

And this was not the thread to voice any of that

actually, it has become so, Trapper, because you and Cosy and Arc were quite rightly discussing the possibility of an attack for the UK before I posted something in line wiht the discussion which the UKIP-type crowd didn’t like – was certainly no more inappropriate to teh purpose of the thread than your first post. It’s the personal abuse which began as soon as I posted which showed the shameless hypocrisy of this crowd.

I’ve posted a copy of a prayer by the husband of one of the victims of the Paris attacks whhc is deeply moving and shows my sympathies.

My concerns for an attack are intensified by the news that the French are starting to hand out an antidote to nerve gas.

Also by somer’s posting of a vid by that circus turn, Nigel Farage, tryng to whip up fear of the refugees, claiming that the refugees are a cover for arms smuggling to attack the West – something you were all trying to do on the refugee thread. Belgium was where they got the arms – it’s the easiest place to Europe to get guns, even easier than Moss Side.

Don’t play the ISIS game, Trapper, just because Farage wants to.

I wasn’t discussing anything or apportioning blame didn’t feel it was necessary
