So sad about your friend, I know the feeling.30 August, 2016 at 11:28 am #999084Sorry for your loss Blossom…can’t imagine not having my mum around
I will be attending a funeral in the not too distant future of my friend
She was having breathing problems along with other minor stuff….went to the doctors and twice put on antibiotics……2 weeks ago she drove herself to A&E said she is just not feeling right…..they told her to go away finish the course of tabs and see how she feels in a weeks time……
She refused to leave and said in a weeks time she won’t be able to make it to the doctors…….they gave in and did a blood test….She has acute myeloid leukaemia …….not long to live…..she will leave 2 children both under 5, and a husband
She had her kids through IVF….after years of heartache30 August, 2016 at 8:24 pm #999121Thank You Kenty.
Sorry to hear about your friend.
The NHS/Hospitals/Doctors are no longer what they used to be.
I’ve had first hand experience of this over a yr ago, when my mother was misdiagnosed.
She subsequently got worse over the months, leading to diagnosis only in April.
All I can say is go get a second opinion.
Even if it means going private.
Life is too precious. You cannot buy it back once you’ve lost it. -
