    Help pls i dont have long as this gateway thing might close on me
    what that is i have no idea , all i know is i keep looseing connection
    and when it says it will find out what the problem is it tells me
    gateway appers off line ……..?
    so i looked for it on the net, said i have to pay ? yet it said it was free lol
    If anybody has the right idea of what it is i need or should be doing
    i would appreciate it , thankyou ……

    Not had any dealings with this type of thing. Have you subscribed to a site that might require a payment ?
    Gateway is a type of software/program that deals with networking, sites like paypal etc use a gateway software for people to make an online payment etc, you might have mistakenly subscribed to a service/site that requires a payment. If your pc/laptop is part of a network, perhaps another user has done this. It could also be a part of your router and an option on that may have been initiated.
    You could check your internet connections and see if your default connection has been changed, { start > connect to> show all connections } bit of a tricky one without knowing more info, a restore might sort it.
