:roll: why when i try to get in jc i can get on the boards but not in chat it keeps telling me site has crashed :roll: anyone else getting this ????? ill give it 1 more try
:? grrr tried again to get in jc still saying theres a problem with the site yet i can get on here.now im not the sharpest by any means lol (ill say it b4r anyone else does)but how is this possible?i see ppl have looked @ this thread but so far no one has commented.plz plz plz help this wee numpty get back in giggles n goes xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Cat, I’m not clever with these things either but I bet if you put this post in Technical Q&A one of the boffins there would sort you out superquick… last time this happened to me it was an update that changed my security setting… anyway a friend sorted it for me but basically my firewall was not accepting third party cookies or something like that.

Have you had a software update recently or changed anything on your pc?try up dating java cat
Sometimes I cant get into chat…………..I have the java logo continuously going round and round……….if that happens I tend to turn lappy off and have a restart.

cat.. will tell ye in laywomans terms ok ? click on the wee windows logo and go to control panel.(uninstall programmes) Remove the old java ye might have.. its ok if ye remove too much as it will automatically ask ye if you need to update.sounds like yer lappy/pc is bunged up Hen. ya running a free programme to help shift the shyte ? I used to use, many moons ago the AVG_free thing. sounds like you have hunnerts o cookies jamming ya up? Its hard to explain it , but it only taks a few seconds. let me know how ye get oan :) failing that Do as i did with my Auld computer and pour Ribena ower it and it and claim aff the hoose insurance.

Cat, I gave up on explorer 9…. I deleted it and went back to explorer 8… nothing worked correctly with 9 for me… have to say I never tried to get into chat when I had it though.
If I remember correctly Explorer9 was not so easy to remove as it does not show up in programmes, in the end I asked google and that took me to the Microsoft site which did a step by step instruction on deleting it. After I deleted it everything was OK for me.
Gaz is good with stuff like this cat,,, but I haven’t seen him about lately but I’m sure he will advise if he sees this.
