Do you beleive in them, im reading msn news (out of date as usual) but seen this and the hairs on the back of my neck stood.
Im not sure if i do, i’d like to beleive they do exsist but would want to see for my own eyes, ive heard stories from people i trust so guess im just sceptial about it.
This country house in eastern England is home to one of the most famous ghost photographs of all time. The image shows a mysterious white figure, known as the ‘Little Brown Lady of Raynham’, descending the hall’s staircase. The ‘Brown Lady’ is believed to be Dorothy, the wife of the house’s one-time owner Charles Townsend.Legend says she was locked up in the house by her furious husband after being found to have committed adultery, and was forbidden to leave even to see her own children. At twilight, ‘Dolly’ is said to haunt Raynham’s oak staircase, an apparition that was apparently captured by Country Life magazine photographers in the famed 1936 photo.
As the population of Paris grew during the 18th Century, the city’s cemeteries began to fill up and authorities resorted to the imaginative, if somewhat insensitive, measure of storing bodies in an underground ossuary converted from Paris’ ancient stone mines. Around 6 million people’s remains are believed to be interred there. With such grave disrespect for the dead shown on such a grand scale, it’s no wonder the catacombs are reportedly haunted. Visitors have claimed to have been touched by invisible hands and felt the sensation of being followed. In rarer, more extreme cases, some have had hysterical breakdowns or claimed to have been strangled.
I’d say I believe in spirits (and not the alcoholic variety!) rather than ghosts.
Can’t stand programmes like Most Haunted and Psychic Detectives though!I dont watch them shows i find them fake but the story i like best from most haunted i heard about – (should be on youtube)
was the mistake where ( i dont know their names) but HE thought the camera was on and kept going saying something like i can hear a dìck, i like dìck to which SHE laughed and asked what was he on about and he admitted he hadn’t a clue and they all laughed at the camera.
I to think those shows are crap.I believe. From personal experience.
