Good afternoon all. I wanted to write to you all to express my concern surrounding dry ginger nut eating mentalists. The ginger nut. It’s a biscuit. A hard one at that. Not like a Jaffa Cake, ohhh no. It’s so hard, I believe it must be laced with some kind of edible cement!

When shopping , it’s not easy to find a bad ginger nut but if you go with Tesco own brand or McVities, in my opinion, they are the best .

    Ginger Nuts

I had a discussion over the weekend about ginger nuts and how to eat them. These aren’t like normal biscuits, by normal I mean Digestives0, rich tea or even a custard cream. You can eat these without dipping at any time. They are not noisy biscuits! The ginger nut is a hard biscuit, so hard that when you take a bite it sounds like a mini-explosion right behind your eyes. Not forgetting the near-whiplash you get when the biscuit finally breaks in your mouth!

Have you ever tried to watch a TV and eat something hard like a ginger nut? It makes the image shake so much and the sound of your own deafening crunching means that you didn’t get to see or hear if Jethro really was the baby’s biological father on Jeremy Kyle, and neither did the person sitting next to you. (Jethro?!)

So dip the bastard in some tea! Or coffee for the tea haters.

So please, I implore you. Dip the nuts, put them in your mouth, and then slap me for being so inappropriate.

    Good day.

    damn right you dip them.

or a thin layer of butter between two just as yummy :P

dont knock it till ya try it.

Works even nicer with rich tea biscuts though.

    Excellent post!

Ask yourself this; If your biscuit tin was full of gingernuts would you keep popping back every 10 minutes for a cheeky one?

    I think not.

As a biscuit Ginger nuts just don’t have the allure of a Custard cream or a Jaffa cake (which IS a biscuit).
Yes, Ginger nuts are missing that certain x-factor!

I personally dont see the appeal in dipping any biscuit in tea. Makes them go all soggy and gross!
