Thats twice now this evening that comments of mine have been deleted…yours as well sian :lol: (well yours was more of a smirk :P )
Hes butting in and stopping potential scraps in their tracks lately, so whats the deal??

Bloody cheek !!!! No I haven’t gone soft (as you put it) but I am responding to loads of comments and requests from members. This is to the effect that they are sick and tired of threads being constantly spoiled by unnecessarily nasty, belittling or spiteful comments.
The upshot is that a decision has been taken that threads that get ”out of hand” and degenerate into abuse will be summarily deleted. If they become over argumentative or combative then they will just be moved into the STD clinic.
Members are expected to act in a reasonable way towards each other and if they REALLY have to pick a fight with another member, then they should do it in PM but NOT do it all over the boards – as this will no longer be accepted.
And before anybody goes there …. this is not an attack on free speech or unnecesary censorship, but it IS a determined attempt to make the message boards a nicer environment where people can post their stuff without being ”attacked”.
Hopefully, all will see it this way and I then won’t have to have a total sense of humour failure.
ah ha! So..the question is, whos been squealing to PB in pm? Bloody spoil sports. Its only a bit of harmless banter. Take that away and the place becomes a morgue.
…the thing is, something doesnt add up…how come sword is being so nice lately as well?? :-k

It’s not just PM’s that have been sent. You only have to read the boards over time to pick up on the many coments made by users in general, when a thread is ”ruined” by a fight that is carried on by others and which is invariably totally off topic.
People are just getting fed up with it Pebbles and this is a direct response to the wishes of what I suspect are the majority of members. Harmless banter is fine just as long as it remains harmless. When it gets spiteful or vindictive then it will be stopped … just like that.

Yep! gotta say..loads of threads are deleted now, but i must say I dont like a rant..but its good to read one.. but again its not everyones cuppa tea, and it quiet nice to see everyone, getting on BUT! its boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL! SO! come on bring on a row I say!! 8-[

we all know you’re good natured..but underneath you love a scrap same as everyone else :wink: 8)
NOT my fault.. I started a whinge,waffle and rant thread ageeeeees ago and no one took me up on it LOL. Many a happy night ranting I have spent. .. pah! bring back the old days when waffling and ranting were regarded as Art Forms :)
