Obviously Just Chat isn’t what it was a few years ago, with the emergence of things like Facebook etc. But of late I’ve noticed a decline in the use of all the forums I use on other sites, covering various subjects. I’ve also noticed that my Facebook friends don’t post so much – and nor do I. Perhaps what I call the ‘Friends Reunited syndrome’ – i.e a site that has huge popularity for a while and then goes into decline – has hit large areas of online interaction. I’ve even noticed that I get fewer emails and so does my partner – and these would mostly be to do with organisations we’re involved in, not social ones.

Maybe as time goes by we get selective when it comes to our internet browsing rather like our tv watching preferences?…….I personally hate the barage of advertising you have to get past on most sites today.

How far can technology go for the average person shopping in pc world?……….Windows 8 has been described as a ‘flop’ so is it time to slow things right down?………After all we are the ones with the money to spend and no one likes buying a white elephant.
