I am a poor man…………
But I do like my beef and feel there something wrong when I see the price of pack of mince go from 75p to £1.10 in a week.
The price of stewing steak has reach over £4.50 per kg, minces has reach £4 per kg and a good joint of silver side is now £18.
I know there been “foot & mouth” and its been a bad summer for farmers.
Are cows selling for £2,000 each or the supermarkets cashing in again?
if youre poor and you still want beef, i suggest you get yourself down to McDonalds. i hear they have a special offer on…a free bolt with every meal :lol:
I think the supermarkets are straight in there with a price hike, not even a thought for customers or farmers who wont see a penny of it.
Have some chicken instead DOA.

Jesus DOA – you certainly buy some cheap cuts of meat don’t you? I thought that you had ‘loadsa money’ which is why you can afford to buy all these user names in the chatrooms.
Maybe you could swap the user name UGO for a decent bit of rump ….. no on second thoughts don’t bother. nobody gives a damn either way.

With diesel the price it is…..I only afford to eat out 3 –4 times a week now and the delivery charges on takeaways has gone thru the roof.
So I am forced to buy cheap cuts of beef and cook for myself, but it’s still cheaper than being married.
But Pb most people with money are very careful with it and don’t like being ripped off.
