    c) smoke some weed, or
Fly to somewhere like Florence and tell everyone that you know armando !! Frequent all the museums on that mechanised pogo stick you got off eBay.

I don’t smoke, but I fancy getting a mechanised pogo stick.

Well Minim, at least you’ll miss the stifling summer heat, and the pollution from the Vespas as well.

And there really is a place called Armandos. The entrees will make your mouth water and you’ll never eat lamb chops anywhere else again. It’s not large or expensive and the operatic types go there. Its at the south end of the upscale shopping bit, near the museums.

Then walk along the Arno, on the side with David on it in the direction away from the piazzale michelangelo – there’s a lovely park and grass banks alongside the river. Also the square with the fake david is great at night, with the performers and crowds chilling out and that. Enjoy !

Had to chuckle at you being Judith.

I have been to Florence before, it is a wonderful place, but I don’t think I found Armandos. I promise to go and eat the lamb chops there :)

I want to go to a few outlying villages and explore. It is amazing how many frescos etc. you can find in tiny little chapels in the middle of nowhere. And I want to go back to the Uffizzi as last time there was just too much to absorb. I hope they won’t mind me pogo’ing round!

    When were you last there?

My work collegue has just come back from there last week…. her and her man stumbled right into the middle of filming James Bond, they must be basing part of the new movie there.

Me ? I’ve only ever been to the garden shed. And that was because I missed my train set so badly.
I would venture further but the neighbourhood kids tend to throw stones.

jehovah-hunting ain’t as easy as it looks rubes. You have to stealthily stalk their watering holes, then follow the tracks to the savannah lands where they generally habitate.

Wait until you’re sure they’re all having a nice Sunday lay-in……..then ring the bell all brazen like. Ask if they’ve seen your missing cat called the Whore of Babylon. Say that bit really loud as you pass them the Daily Star for some suggested reading, then run to number 23 for a small beverage.

and let me know how you get on love……………….
