I know that area, Linda.
It’s on our news that the hurricane will be of historic proportions – a real monster.
Some very historic coastline there. It’s always been subject to hurricanes, and there was quite a wind when i was there at one point which gave me a taste of the real thing. Fortunately, I never experienced a hurricane or a tornado.
I’ll be keeping my eyes open for the news.

From what saying scep wanted all to leave today..coming in Thursday by time hits hard be no way to evacuate till after the fact..the roads of cars looks so awful..people worry about home be standing on return, and now they have extended through the weekend rains too… all on edge. .. scary. I have been in a few..winds howl like you can never imagine. When trees snap sound like thunder in your front door. Ground rumbles too.
Neighboring states alerted to assist, as well as ours. Hope and pray that this mass exodus finds places to also stay to wait out the storm as well. This can be a problem.

We had a small room to hide in in case the house lifted off
I was a little worried as the boy was only 6.
A tornado came near us once, but never hit or we would have found out whether the Land of Oz really did exist.

I was speaking with cosy earlier, and as he is banned and can not contribute to the thread he wishes he could.
From what he discussed yes, he does have a green thumb and can name everything from A-Z. Had his hands sticky, dirty, muddy and expertise in this field as did for many years.. that special touch with gardening so to speak. Lol. So gentle hands, warm heart as some do not know the real side of cosy.. As we spoke was going to walk his dog soon as not far from the beach, find a flower and pick it out and go smell the fresh roses, expression, as he merrily goes on his day!
By the way Sophia cosy loved the pics as well. Cosy also enjoys Sommer1’s gardening as well as enjoys seeing Angelbabe’s. He said to tell you all very nice..lovely. x
