Hugs you have become a comical caricature of ridicule on here saturated with psychotic paranoia with your silly posts- you’re summarily dismissed.
Ignoring Hugs spamming the thread with more troll rhetoric which appears on every thread he slithers onto, it’s interesting that many complain about guests yet the members room remains unused which pretty much confirms that many aren’t that bothered at all. I also don’t see the point of banning regs as many return as guests anyway, so the rooms have an unhealthy mix of numbers/regs with no one knowing who is who from one day to the next. As a member you can block spam contrary to being a number when the chatflow is ruined unable to block anything.
I’d suggest most adults can moderate themselves or block if its someone they don’t wish to see without the above mentioned poster near cardiac arrest at who is in what room at any given time. Advertise the members only room perhaps more on the home page of jc as an option if the mental trauma of a guest is too much to see online for people like hugs ( who come in as a guest anyway with threats to put pics of people on gay sex sites etc)

Not true hugs sorry people are using it more so in the evenings maybe the quiz is still up and running and lots of people still enjoy it. Why can some guests posts links with porn etc yet other guests cant posts links at all ? why do you think you aren’t getting people volunteering to be guides or the right people in your opinion because i know of several people who have applied and have heard nothing back from you ?
Unfortunately what I have typed is true 20-30 in a room at night is not good figures. When I started here rooms had 200 in and you had to wait to get in.
The site I am now using will have at least 80 in during the day and over a hundred more in the evenings.
I can answer why guest are able to post links.Its because of the outdated software Martin is using.
If you look closely to how these links are put in the rooms you will see how it is done.
I will not say here how it is being done though as all it will do is at add to this problem.
On the reason why Martin hasn’t selected any new guides its because guides are selected by guides and hosts or were when Martin had some.
If Martin was to come into the rooms more often then he would see for himself who is and who is not suitable.
I applied years ago and was rejected on the say so of one guide. Strange though as the guide at that time did very little guiding and was not a guide for long.
I suggest you should apply, though there is very little left here to guide now.

yes its not the busy site it used to be and hasn’t been for a long time but it could be if enough people want it to be?
I know how they do it thanks hugs just wasn’t sure if martin was aware of the fact they do so giving him the chance to explain.
I have re applied as i was a guide years ago and i mean years ago, but heard nothing as have others hence my original comment. but as for the last two pages of bitch biting and name calling of people what does it achieve really ? there is a pm option available to vent or simply ignore easier said than done i know.
lets hope martin takes on board some of the suggestions made and the site will hopefully improve

We don’t need more guides, we need grown adults to behave as such instead of adult babies like hugs crying and whining 24/7. There is a block button for a reason and a members only chat away from guests.. if you cant go in a chatroom as a grown man and cope without crying for help from admin unable to ignore/block chatters it’s a pathetic state of affairs. Like many on here, I have ancestors who fought in world wars , worked down mines etc and in 2018 we have 60 year old men so upset over a faceless chatroom they have to beg admin to help them cope wasting police time calling them up . If someone over 18 is unable to enter a chatroom without accusing people in there of trolling getting so worked up it s probably best they dont have computer access.
If I ever got to a state in life where I felt I needed help to cope in a chatroom with block facilities and a log out button I’d probably head to dignitas tbh. The only problem I have with JC is the picture/avatar function which makes it difficult to upload my beauty as it keeps cropping

I agree with you 100%. People whinge and whine and complain about abuse and nasty words on a screen..yet when given the tools to ignore such abuse they refuse to use it. They have a members only room,I bet thats empty isnt it? why? because they’ll miss all the ‘fun’..and they just cant stand to miss anything, makes for juicy gossip you see. If people cant use the options given to them,either stop using chat rooms or grow a spine and stop complaining. 🙄

I would assume maintaining any site location for chatting has difficulty as well as staff on payroll.. or volunteers.
As a newbie while back not familiar with chat sites..I did come here to become familiar with those who lived in the UK.. my goal many will recall to become better familiar as I would be travelling to the region.
I admit I made some mistakes..learned..but decency prevailed as taking private information..shared confidences..not disclose openly..kept it private.. nor did I use for retaliation openly in revenge..anger..exposed in rooms for all to read…
However, defensive mechanism often pushed buttons in which sadly and sure all can say here..we fight back at those comments. Iggy..well those who wish to be entertained..not going to talk behind my back. Ignore..difficult when have more than 1 go after you. Leave a bit..still around.
It is my belief..opinion..that too many numbers are able to change and come back. Think should be limitation. Not sure how if not paying or paying. There must be some common factor that can be caught to have that ability in few one day or few hours that resign in. I think site owners can follow or know traffic of users who come in and when. Perhaps this to be looked into.
I agree at many of times I personally said hell with it..but truthfully..I have enjoyed many of the GOOD FOLK HERE AT JC IN WHICH I FEEL BUILT UP A NICE RELATIONSHIP WITH. Yes I know used all caps..Reason. many good people here. Why cart disrupted because of bad apples..
For those whom left..comment now they in a better place..site..good for you..Why hope a place you once enjoyed be destroyed.. where is your loyalty to those whom provided you some real nice chat and pleasures?
For those who sticking it out..hopefully it will get better again. Can not be management alone to make a success..it is the effort of the whole team…that means JC CHATTERS TOO..

I have no idea about how closely martin pays attention. my guess is that he misses some, but I don’t know. As long as he pays some attention.
As QE and Jane stress, we’re adults, not schoolchildren (despite some reactions) requiring constant attention by monitors and guards. If you can’t take it, which is understandable in some cases, then just take a break from the boards for a few days (or months).
There are no iggy buttons on the boards, and people ehre can get pretty rough at times, but you learn to handle that, and if personal information is given out (unforgivable in my book) then Martin will deal with it within a couple of days of it being reported my memory).
I just hope that Martin will tighten up his policy on flooding of the boards with a flurry of new and repetitive posts. That has been the main threat here in the past few months.

Ignoring another chatter only stops you seeing what that chatter is typing it does not stop the abuse. They can still see what you type so the ignore only works one way.
Guests can not ignore other guests which means they have to see the abuse and spamming so any decent new chatter will not stay.
No one will pay for a name so all Martin will end up with is guest numbers other sites provide this for free.
When things are reported they need to be dealt with straight away not as Martin does and leave them without any action not for just a couple of days but for weeks. Martin only seems to come in now maybe twice a month this is no way to run a site.
Clearly this shows that Martin does not care either about the site or those using it.
