The competition isn’t won on two games thats for sure. But of the limited games I have watched I am absolutely loving the expansive game the Dutch are playing. If only England played that way, even occassionally. No fear in their minds. They look conditioned as a team to go out there and know they are better than the opposition.
If Italy get through, the Dutch will have no-one but themselves to blame. However I will be rooting for Romania, so we can dump the filthy frogs and spics out of the nations cup.

it’s been great to watch some of the football being played, the Dutch of course are on fire at the moment. I’ve also being highly impressed by the Croatians, they really are cementing their reputation as one of the very best teams in the world. But it means nothing at this stage when all you have to do is qualify for the quarter-finals, and on goal average if that’s what it takes.

I have thought about which team I want to win, and I know I am leaving it a bit late, but, well, I can’t. I have watched a fair few of the games and I don’t have any idea which team I want. I wish we had done a sweep stake a work now.
We had a sweepstake at work (dole queue obviously), and I couldn’t bring myself to do it… just couldn’t.
