I sometimes suspect that Words is not full of the same milk of human kindness which has moved all others in here from Cosy and Danny to Thin and Annette when they conducted their good-natured duels long ago, in the Later Middle Ages.

No, it cannot be. He is a nice kind man, he must be, or he’ll end up in bloody Hell, oh yes with a sharp fork up his backside and the eternal flames licking aorund his privates… :)

The Holy City has been replaced by Shall We Dance? as the tune echoing around my mind when awake or asleep…

ok, it’s a less annoying tune but after a while of this OCD it becomes as bad…

    cha cha cha

to quote Dr Faust – this is hell, nor am I out of it

    cha cha cha

    on the clear understanding

that this kind of thing can’t happen

shall we dance? shall we dance? shall we dance?

*runs around the room, hands covering ears, screaming

Yeah, thanks, Words, your characteristic choice of film clip succeeeded in driving out an internal horror of timed cha cha cha with an alien horror of bad taste.

How did de Niro allow himself to be dressed up like that?

    I suspect he requested it . . . . . . . .

There’s something about a flounce (and I don’t mean the ‘stop posting on a thread and pretend you’ve physically walked out’ type)

yes, de Niro does seem to like making a grotesque of himself (a sign of a dislocated intelligence?)…Rupert Pupkin can be seen in the Johnny Boy of Mean Streets.

Maybe he got envious of Matt Damon camping it up in The Good Shepherd.

and then again grotesques come in tuxedo…
