Ok,I’m not really one for posting on boards….but, I thought if I take the brave step and come forward to tell my story, it might encourage other brothers to come forward and tell their story……..so today I just thought I’d check the boards for a browse…I hardly ever go on boards….but I came across a topic called hair and make up….I thought to myself, hmmmm there’s a interesting topic….so just as I was about to click onto thread…I saw I wasn’t allowed to have a opinion because this “discussion” was for “ladies”……….well to say I was offended was a understatement of gigantic proportions…..I was devastated…I thought to myself..how can this be possible in this day and age…its 2017 ffs…so after I stopped shaking with anger and dried my eyes after a good cry….I gathered my thoughts and decided…..Enough is enough….tell the world the your story and expose the sexist pigs….I hope by me writing this thread others will come forward and share there story…..and if by doing this I save someone from going threw the emotional trauma I went threw earlier….its been worth it

Sexism against men is certainly much more of a problem then is popularly believed, i’m not sure this is an example of it though.

Sexism is generally applied to women just like racism is generally applied to non white individuals or groups in society.
Sexism can apply to either gender and to a greater or lesser extent, does. Obviously in a patriarchal society it will have more impact on women.
Sexism is only sexism if members of the sexes are treated unfairly within their sex. Big row going on in the BBC at the moment about equal pay.
