Sexism is only sexism if members of the sexes are treated unfairly within their sex. Big row going on in the BBC at the moment about equal pay.
‘Equal pay’ is sexist.
Pay should be based on your skill, not what sexual organs you have.

A patriarchal society where the both the head of state, and head of government are women.

There are some things that separate men as being men and women as like wise. Sexism in it’s self is wrong. The whole sexism movement was originally a political move to help women in the work place. Quite right. Men and women should respect each other in the work place as in all areas of life. How ever, men and women are still that at the end of the day…men and women. Sexism, like many other abuses in society can be started off as a genuine cause but can rapidly escalate into a movement which tips the scales completely the other way.

Can you give me a list of what features a society must have to be classified as patriarchal?
