    Hi Cat

    Have you downloaded java properly?

Does it give you the option to run active x control?

    try this
    Start Internet Explorer.
On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Security tab.
    Click Default Level.
    Click OK.

Note ActiveX controls and Java programs are turned off at the High security level in Internet Explorer.

You may also get a bar come across your browser which you can click and say allow active x.
