I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at the news that Keegan is set to leave Newcastle.
It’s all to do with Joey Barton apparently.
I’ll say no more then….
2 September, 2008 at 10:44 pm #369035it was on the cards, however its not been comfirmed and nobody in newcastle seems to know what is going off
2 September, 2008 at 10:47 pm #369036As much as I admire Keegan’s heart Im not atall surprised at the Barton fiasco. He should not be playing premiership football. He should be at a job centre begging for a job in the same way as most ex cons and trying to do good and set an example and show remorse.
Keegan should be a social worker.
3 September, 2008 at 3:55 pm #369037So he hasn’t left but he didn’t take training again today and the club aren’t telling the fans anything? I take it that this is supposed to appease them.
As for the Barton thing, I’m in two minds over that. I do admire Keegan for standing by someone, despite the protests, who admits they need help when others may have taken the easy option and washed their hands of the situation. But at the same time, it’s not as if Barton hasn’t had his warnings.
3 September, 2008 at 4:00 pm #369038I’m hoping they get Ruud Gullit back
3 September, 2008 at 11:08 pm #369039Barton seems a bit of a loose end, however on his day a great footballer
Denis Wise will be the next Manager if Keegan walks, which I think he will by the end of the season

Thats rich coming from a man who though FC Twente might prove difficult for Arsenal. The Sunday pub team against a top European club. Fooking hilarious prediction that was.
