You can get microsoft to send you out a disc, it’s free if you have a legit code on the lappy.

I can’t understand why anyone would buy a second hand laptop in the first place.
You can buy a new one for less than £300 or get a free one from most moble phone companys.
But if you do need computer software and your computer is off line, you can always use one of the many internet caffe’s to down load it onto a cd and install from there.
If any of you do buy a second hand computer, pls remmber you need to “low level format the hard drives” and re install all software.
I do think its better to bin the old hard drive and buy a new one.
You don’t know what the computer has been use for or by who.
But with most computers being out of dated, (mins after being taken out of the box), you are always better buying a new one.
Never buy a second hand computers, you will spend hours sorting them out, only to find something else that needs replacing.
im thinking of buying a laptop just for general home use, nothing major, so i dont want to pay too much for it. Any recommendations?
Dell’s range would be an obvious low price laptop website to look at pebbles.
