My father-in-law was a marine office in the last war. He said that there was always a little stoolie in the ranks, and they were known on the ship as little white rats.

    Everyone knew one.

In the 18th century Man o’ War, these little informers were given the nickname of ‘Squeak’.

    We’ve always had these people.

In today’s modern workplace, they can rise high in the ranks, leaving a trail of competent bodies behind them.

    Hmmmm…

I served 12 years in the British Armed Forces, including four tours in Northern Ireland and one in Iraq. I don’t hide behind the shirttails of ‘father in laws’ to score cheap puerile points online, I don’t need to. Actions always speak louder than words typed by gobby online keyboard warriors like you. The pub bore whose life is bereft of meaning and so without direction, this is all that is left for it.

    :bye:
