just a little game if anyone is intrested, did it 4 years ago with a couple of mates, we just played for a pint but proved to be pretty succsesfull

basicly everyone chooses 4 teams from the world cup, its really simple

you pick one top ranked team.. england, brazil, italy.. ect ect
you pick one second ranked team.. sweaden, holland, ect ect
you pick one third ranked team.. Usa, Australia ect ect
you pick one forth ranked team…
well you get the idea

for every game …
your top rank team wins you get 3 points
4 points for every second ranked team win
5 points for every third ranked team win
6 points for every fouth ranked team win

for every game
your top rank team draws you get 1 point
2 points for every second ranked team
3 points for every third ranked team
4 points for every fouth ranked team

for every game your top rank team loses, you lose 2 points

if your top ranked team wins the world cup you get 5 points
10 points if your second rank team wins the cup
15 points if your third rank team wins the cup
30 points if your fouth rank team wins the cup

it really is that simple, can you predict which underdog will go on to surpise people? can you predict which top ranked team will go all the way, or can you avoid the team that fails to make an impression
