The Bible said that God made Eve out of Adam’s rib to keep man from being lonely.
The Bible said that when some kids taunted Elisha by calling him Old baldy, God sent lions to them as a punishment, and the lions tore the kids to pieces.
The Bible said that women are to remain quiet while men talk, that women are below men by nature.
The Bible says a lot of craperooni. A shame, as a lot if it is not craperooni at all.

SCEP – The Bible said that women are to remain quiet while men talk, that women are below men by nature. – I know a guy who knew some guy like that, his partner was not allowed to talk unless he said she can.

some would call that man a total control freak.
St Paul was the one who said that about women. He also said that slaves should work harder for their masters to show how much they loved them. I can find the quotes if anyone wants.
The Bible has much to say, but just because the Bible says it only proves that the Bible says it.
Let Adam and Steve, or Madam and Eve, do what they want to do. As long as they’re not hurting people, I have no problem with that. I don’t know that Jesus would have a problem with it, either.

You know I am an honest person and never said or knew mags was gay, don’t even care one way or another. I said he was an ass and that hasn’t changed, never will. He treats people terribly and deserves what he gets. Follow the commandments, but I am not sure that would help him out of his lieing mess he has made for himself. It is just a very sad thing when people are such evil and so vindictive that they have no feelings of another human being. I am sorry I believe in happiness to all, love to all, and everything mostly is beautiful.

John is a committed Christian and follows the ten commandments: Tho shalt not covet another mans wife is one of the teachings laid out in the bible so at an early age decided to pursue husbands instead in respect of the teachings. I wasn’t married but we frequently invite married men round for mutual pleasure.
I don’t believe in the baby Jesus and am a practising Satanist living my life according to the teachings of lord Lucifer. People think pain, misery and suffering are bad things but for anyone following satan we try to spread the word of evil to as many as possible and would appreciate respect for my religion.

If you read your bible correctly Sceptical Guy and in context you will find that God does not view women as lower than men (they are both equal in God’s eyes). Although, God does talk about subjection to the head ship rule a lot in the scriptures…(through his writers of course who were born along by holy spirit).
Problem i find with most people who use scripture as a statement…they pick and choose what they believe God is saying. You could blame this country on Henry the Eighth. Wasn’t it Henry who wanted a divorce and had the power of a Man and so changed the whole religion of a country in the process?
God is not a pick and mix artist in your local shop. That makes god undecisive and leaves it up to every individual to believe what they want.
Sums it up really when Sceptical Guy says…….” I have no problem with that” it’s not what Sceptical thinks that matters in Gods opinion. As for Jesus…he never died for Sceptical Guy’s opinions…he died for his Fathers laws and order and justice and all that will be fulfilled.
You will find in the bible that all earthly governments will be replaced by God’s heavenly kingdom….Sceptical Guy will only argue that point and many others who look to human rulers.
If you believe in God…..do what he wants…if you believe in human rulers ..do what they say…Give Ceasors things to Ceasor and Gods things to God.
Who is any one to disagree with God? You admit in a higher power then disagree with him? Surely the bears will eat you as well at some point?
