I trust fergie, he turned a sulking Cantona into a great player

    Fiction
A little known fact about Cantona is that Fergie actually signed him from the Walsall and District Sunday League side The Tap & Turtle for whom he was a third choice striker.
Cantona, as is well known, was wheel chair bound after losing his leg to shrapnel in the Second World War and could only play for the last 15 minutes of each game.
Ferguson changed all that and laid his hands on Cantona’s brow one day enabling the healing powers to turn Cantona into the player we all adored.

    Fact
Cantona signed for Man United after helping Leeds Utd win the Premier League.
He was already an established International footballer with France.
Fergie used his cheque book to sign a player who was already a great player ffs.

Matty would love to lick fergie’s arse….I’d rather kick it.

can’t see why any player would want to play for eiather club to be honest, both will never be big clubs, they just offer big wages

Total bollocks… Chelsea already ARE a big club and that is recognised by everyone in the game from managers to players to boardrooms from the top to the bottom of the pyramid, and I mean people that know their football which you obviously don’t Matt. As for wages, name me a club from the top four that isn’t paying £30k plus a week for their ‘stars’? Think before you type, there’s a good lad.

As for Berbatov, I sincerely hope that whatever happens those scum from OT don’t get their grubby hands on his contract!

Oh and despite the money Matthew, you also need talent and Chelsea are currently no.1 in the UEFA ranking list, not bad for a ‘small club’ huh?

nobody wanted cantona, Fergie took a gamble, maybe he was forced into it due to Dion Dublin breaking his leg, was still a gamble

I thought we might have a last minute deal too, but we are tight gits, but I trust the manager to stick by what he knows.

    Been crazy though innit!

Chelsea have been no.1 in UEFA’s rankings since April this year. Matty I’m sorry young man but I am not getting into this ‘not a big club’ bullshit with someone that clearly doesn’t understand what he is talking about. Said my piece.
