8 March, 2006 at 6:23 pm #201702you never know.. chelski could lose there next 8 games, we could win all of ours :)
9 March, 2006 at 3:43 pm #201703The question I would ask is can anyone see Chelsea being stopped from winning 8.9 or 10 titles in a row?
It’s not that Man Utd are doing badly. I saw somewhere that they’re points total up till now is better than in some other seasons when they won the title.
Man Utd and maybe even Arsenal will push Chelsea close over the next years, but close could still mean a 10-15 point advantage for Chelsea.
Can Man Utd and Arsenal really challenge them right to the wire over the next few years.
English footy might have to wait till the Ruski gets bored before a name other than Chelsea will be put on the Championship Trophy again.9 March, 2006 at 6:35 pm #201704they did’nt look too impressive against barca to be honest, i think ar sneal are looking a good team also, they just need a centre midfield player, the rest of there team is young, and very good, a better prospect then chels team
as for man united, they need to be better then good, players like fletcher, richardson and co are not good enough for a title winning team
we need better
9 March, 2006 at 6:39 pm #201705Not a fan but I think Liverpool are the team that are going to close in on Chelsea in coming seasons. They are a much improved side, very close in ability to man utd now and just in need of a quality striker or two to become world class once more.
Maybe that buy-out clause in Owen’s contract would be worth taking advantage of?
9 March, 2006 at 6:53 pm #201706they need a striker first, and to score goals
9 March, 2006 at 9:58 pm #201707NOPE OWERN IS GOIN NO WHERE THERE AINT EVER A BUY OUT CLAUSE IN HIS CONTRACT
9 March, 2006 at 10:58 pm #201708i bet owen is kicking himself then
