    Just listened to that track Sophia…awesome! Brilliant drumming, lovely harmonies. Track doesn’t seem to be dominated voice wise. Brilliant production. I am assuming Marlena is one of the female vocalists?

    Interesting this…apparently, the line..remember me,(Blue Boy)  i’m the one that had your babies refers to African- American maids raising white children for very little pay. And the connection to this track from Marlena is that the track is built around 2 samples, one i’ve already mentioned but both come from the 1973 version of ‘ Woman of the ghetto’ a live track. This was originally sung by Marlena Shaw in 1969 recorded for her album..The Spice of Life.
