Help Please –
Has anybody logged out of msn instant messaging, but still received a message??? This is the second time it’s happend to me and it seems it’s never me on the computer when it happens. Should I remove the program then re-load or just say screw it and remove it all together? Do you think it would help if I blocked everybody until I knew I was logged in intentionally. Am I making any sence or are you as confused as I am? I would appreciate any direction I can get here.
Gracias :-k16 December, 2005 at 12:47 am #177410I didn’t understand any of that!
http://support.msn.com/contactus.aspx16 December, 2005 at 1:02 am #177411Go to the Tools menu
Options. ( if running 7.5) click on General. At the top under the Sign-in section. Untick the “Allow automatic sign in when connected to the internet” and also “automatically run messenger when I log onto windows”
That should stop the programme from auto signing you in when you are not on the pc….. I had a very “interesting” conversation with my father about this when i moved back home briefly…. needless to say he was working on the pc and a particular contact decided to start joke cyber………….

Gracias :-kMSN
I ditched that cr.ap long ago. It kept asking me for my password, wouldn`t accept it then asked for it again, over and over…..!
I`d adjusted my firewall etc, etc…………….
Wouldn`t have it back on my PC ever again.
