Haha, hey don’t blame me for your cock up’s lol

If you tried reading the actual post properly instead of rushing to pen off some unfunny quip you may not always get it wrong and look like such a bloody plonker !!

Anyway, back to the music, here’s one right up your street.

I saw U2 at the hammersmith palais, with talking Heads, when they were both starting out.

Talking heads were great, but U2 I can’t say I liked.

However, I have never heard them, or anyone else, do a cover of Girl With No Eyes (the name of the song by the group, It’s A Beautiful Day)

So, q, could you show us all evidence for this cover? I’d be really interested to hear a better version.

Or are you just being Alan Partridge again – aha.

    The Chinese Envoy

“She could talk about things that never mattered ever…

They’d never listen. They never will”

The lyrics and the music together have both the delicacy and the intricacy of Chinese art

    Lyrics:

She was a princess, much lower than people thought
A master of nothing a mistress of something she thought

She could talk about things that never mattered ever
From one person’s miserable life after another
She could talk to the French and Germans at will
They’d never listen ..they never will
The chinese envoy was here, the chinese envoy was here but left
The chinese envoy was here but left in his broken hearted pagoda

Calling out her name you’d be surprised at what came
Galloping out of the darkness just like furniture
We’d have lost it all if it hadn’t been for Cardinal Richelieu
    And all his courtiers
The chinese envoy was here, the chinese envoy was here but left
The chinese envoy was here but left in his broken hearted pagoda

    ”Prefer U2’s version of It’s a Beautiful Day………….”

Lol…. Oh dear, talk about disagreeing just for the sake of it, obviously didn’t even listen to it or he’d know its a completely different song

    ”Actually sceppers………..i just simply claimed that i preferred U2’s it’s a beautiful day………..”

So yes, Mr Plonky Partridge admits he disagrees purely for the sake of disagreeing, what a very strange bloke ?
