My angel

A friend is for life
doesn’t have to be your wife
Never needs to be there
in body but in soul
sits on your shoulder
for these are the friends
that you never see
these are the friends
that will always be
miles apart you stay
but still think of each other
every single day
they never ask of you
they rarely mention you
cos there is a bond
so strong, yet not there at all
These are the friends you love
In that moment of need
They appear, from nowhere
hear your complaints
your whinings, and fears
then patch you up and disappear
I am a friend as such i hope
to few, but a special few
I even have a few like this
one in particular, she is
special through and thorugh
My Angel looking over me
I miss our convo’s
i miss our interludes
but i know she is still there
for i can feel her
and this she always knows
My angel is my guardian
blessed with a gifted tongue
tells me when i am right
but most of all when i am wrong
i miss my angel
for we speak not much, no more
but all is okay i think
in my sleep i hear her snore
every one has an angel
looking over them
even when they are not with you
they still are looking down
