hey everyone!!!!
as dawny said(thanks dawny!!!) i had lily-ann elizabeth at 9.22pm on 26th october…we’ve just got out of hospital today!!
just for mary_j who is so looking forward to hearing about the agony i went through i’ll do a quickie birth story
contractions started thursday night, gone by friday morning…started again friday night so went to hospital…only 1cm dilated but in early labour and sent home. contractions continued and i went back to the hospital to be kept in from saturday night because i was 2cm dilated…given pethadine so i could sleep…by sun morning i was 7cm and sent to delivery….birth was painful but i did it on just gas and air…great stuff innit!!!
unfortunately lily-ann had very little oxygen supply during birth so wasn’t breathing on her own when born :( they took her away to special care to be looked after.
the placenta didn’t detach though so i had to go to theatre to have it removed(being spread legs akimbo and unable to feel anything is soooo unpleasant!!!)
anyway, after both of us being stuck in hospital for a week they’ve finally deemed us both healthy :D
am so enjoying being a mummy!!!

Congratulations Kenty on the birth of your beautiful daughter. You must be thrilled to bits with her. It,s worth all the pain and discomfort isn,t it in the end, when you are presented with that little bundle. Well done.

Congratulations! Sorry to hear of the trauma after childbirth – you must have been terrified when they took her away from you when she was born. I’m glad everything turned out OK.
You must be very proud, and rightly so!
what a beautiful baby she is. congrats to mum.and am sure dad’s well chuffed too
