it comes from the second world war.. when many a Scottish laddie was killed. Mick marra, told the tale of a wee half daft laddie that worked in the Jute Mills. HE never knew where North Africa was.. so this was compared into Dundee Geography. He basically mentions areas of Dundee. and surrounding areas. Mick was a talented laddie.. please Googgle ALICE Marra.. HIs daughter..

Funny story this…….in the late eighties when i visited record shops a lot, i was in one particular one i enjoyed going into and the shop keeper had a smart jumper on with the words Danny Wilson printed on in quite small letters above the left hand breast. I can be a bit over familiar some times or just friendly depending on how you view it and i said…”Hi Danny, you got some great sounds here.”, to which he looked at me most strangely. LMAO looking back as i thought his name was Danny Wilson. I thought it was a staff identity badge. He sort of saw the funny side as i explained.
Any way,bought 2 cassettes…Gary Moore- Wild Frontier album and i can’t remember the other one but i did buy an All About Eve Shirt who i was heavily into at the time.
