Ok, I,ve got a copy of Norton anti virus 2005. After I,d done a complete clean installtion, a few months back, I reinstalled my bt broadband then tried to install my Norton. For some poxy reason it will NOT install. I have another anti virus that does it,s job, but I really want my Norton back. I cannot work out for the life of me WHY it wont install it. I,ve given up trying..any ideas?

Get rid of Norton. Go for AVG and ZoneAlarm.

    Both free.

Cheers Martin, I,ve just got rid of the virus programe I had, which I hated anyway, and downloaded the free version of AVG. I,d never heard of it until you suggested it. But I still wonder, why Norton wouldnt install. :?

    Hi,

Norton is too complicated to use … AVG won’t last long as a free software… Avast is the best free antivirus software I ever downloaded.

AVG will ask you to purchase a license, that is what is happening now with AVG.

Avast has their own forum as well, 100% support.

You must be psychic lol. My AVG just informed me that the free version runs out in January and I have to buy the updated version. I shall have a look at Avast then when that happens. Cheers.
