The swimmers under-performed in Athens but you gotta take ya speedo cap off in recognition of what this girl’s achieved.
anyway, I got a date with Paula Radcliffe at 12.30 tonight. Don’t think she’ll do it though.
To paraphrase Mickey Rourke….there’s fifty things can go wrong in a marathon and if you can think of twenty of them you’re a genius.Hated the way she was slaughtered by the media four years ago. It seems that she spoilt their headlines. General sports-writers with no basic knowledge of their individual subjects……..koonts!
Totally agree, the woman is bloody amazing and never deserved any of that.
She is an inspiration, and typical of our media, we always like to knock any success the minute the opportunity arises.
