This summer I’ve seen a few white kayaks on the beach and wonder what they were

The Oru’s aren’t cheap start at around £1000 for a basic model and going up to £1500. For that kind of money you can buy a Mega carbon sit on kayak.

The Oru main selling point is portably and easy storage. It seems to be aim at the inflatable market. Advanced elements sell a top of the range inflatable model for £750 which is just as portable.

I’ve not had a chance to try out an Oru yet and cant tell you if there worth the money. I am looking for a good 4/5 meter sea kayak for next year. The issue with these kayaks is storage and the Oru maybe the answer to that.
