Hello Everyone.
I would like to take this opportunity to mention that i hope Panda is alright,,( really now )..
As regards to what happend at the said encounter, well i guess experience is to be learned from. Not really knowing any of the chatters involved ( only from the boards ), i guess it is a shame really.
Time and time again i have learned that people have met, and it usually ends in one of the party being ignored,,,( wether that be the male or female ).
The sad fact is,,people can entice people on the net,. some give them false hope,,,and lead them on, cleary for their own selfish benefits. ( sad but true ). Without knowing what really happend,,all i can mention is this,,,,If we live and learn from the mistakes we have made, then the mistakes we have made were never in vain

Ange I have met some lovely people off here…..depends what you are looking for when you are chatting to someone to how a relationship develops
There is nothing wrong with anyone looking for “something more”…the internet has become an easier way of meeting poeple…we don’t even have to leave the comfort of our homes to “bump” into someone…love, lust is developing all over the country…gone are the days when you usually met someone within a few miles radiius, dated then married them, the world really has become our oyster now with the web.
Unfortunately, of course there are circumstances where things weren’t what was initially thought, people lie, dupe, some even probably find it funny to do such things..it can happen to the best of us…as we see time and time again….it can happen to the most strong minded and savviest of people..
Once a relationship develops, then months or years down the line it breaks down, you cannot blame the internet as many people often do..”I’m not dating anyone from JC or the Internet” is often heard (read)
Unfortunately as human beings we never really do learn lessons, and often make similar mistakes again, when someone exciting comes along or indeed somthing exciting happens we see that as somthing different and not a repeat of the bad experience from before and that goes for online and non online encountersErm.. Forgive me.. But am I the only one who thinks (or at least thought) this whole thing to be a wind up?
And pretty obviously so?From what I recall of Panda’s original post, it certainly seemed tongue in cheek. In fact blatantly tongue in cheek.. No?
Or am I going mad?
In fairness I didn’t scrutinise it too much.
But I dunno.. I just didn’t get any hint of seriousness from it.
I actually joked about the type of curry purchased.Well, judging by the subsequent reactions, it seems I have indeed got it wrong.
Yet one could surmise that such reactions actually brought the wind up to a new level?
Hence the rather noticeable silence from the parties concerned?Are Panda and Tel having a right old giggle at the expense of many others?
Or should I pay more attention next time?

When I first read the original post I thought it was a wind up, but now I think not…or then again, maybe I’m being fooled… :-k
