Peco , it’s safer to drive in the centre lane – unless there are 4 lanes then you’d probably be totally confused !

I do a lot of driving , but have to be careful as 1 more speeding offence I will get banned
Bleddy Speed traps – I know there is another post about that – but when will they see sense and up the motorway limit

Peco – you should never drive too closely behind a lorry – they can stop within their own length in emergencies
Remember if you can’t see the driver’s cab mirror as you are too close behind him – then he can’t see you either !!!

By driving in the middle lane you force vehicles from two lanes to use the
outside lane to overtake you. This clogs up the outside lane which clogs up
the motorway.

You should drive in the left-hand lane if the road ahead is clear. If you are
overtaking a number of slower moving vehicles it may be safer to remain in
the centre or outer lanes until the manoeuvre is completed rather than
continually changing lanes. Return to the left-hand lane once you have
overtaken all the vehicles or if you are delaying traffic behind you

People who speed up on inside lane when they merged into traffic….I moved to outside lane to allow them to merge….. !!!!

and I am in outside lane needing to get off at next exit..NOW
