The most memorable poets that never leave the front part of the brain. To recite something shocking or hilarious. Both the sacred (T.S. Eliot, Auden, Larkin) and the profane (dirty Irish limericks). This is what makes us social animals talk until the early hours….

12 July, 2022 at 6:17 pm #1145175Well, there’s always time for a bit of maths, the language of physics. My brain isn’t wired for maths and so I never got into physics as deep as I would have liked. And chemistry is too boring. Biology is my limit.
But where does maths lead you? Do you study equations like a puzzle? And is the equation a means to an end or is the act of solving a maths problem a pleasure in itself, like a crossword?
