I think though…my all time favourite cartoon has to be Tom and Jerry. The violence lol. Anvils in faces, rakes, and shotguns! Priceless.

Thing is sceptical…i’m not a sceptical guy………i’m a positive guy. I prefer to look for the positive rather than the negative. Both are helpful at different times though and we ain’t no enemy’s.

    mister q,

sceptical doesn’t mean being a negative person.

    well, mr q,

    sceptical doesn’t mean positive either.

It refers to reasoning. Positive and negative balance on another. :-)

    Sceptical Guy
    Good morning/noon

So then is final decisions or conclusions based on rational in your opinion?
    One’s own conduct?
How does one balance positive/negative in justifying need? Curious, no disrespect by any meant. I still like learning other’s prospective. Helps me. Thanks

    Misterq- Good Morning/noon..

    Love concept of “Positive”
Unfortunately some times negative over rules out comes often, provides too much challenge. Think taught in college Persuasive measures/people usually rule in our world today….see it often myself. Don’t you? Also meant as a positive thought not negative…..

All i’m going to say here is that i’m positive because it determines my course of destiny. I’m suspicious my self a lot of the time and i am very wary, how ever, at the end of the day………i look for the most positive out come and see the best in every situation, people and thing. if you think about it carefully you will realize that sceptism is a grade of negativity rather than posotivity. Posotivity and negativity are the 2 ends of the scale. There aren’t many people who are completely neutral on this scale and we all need each other. However, if you are more on the positive side of the scale, your life will be more positive and if your more on the negative side, your life will be more negative in the way that you approach it. This does not mean though that any one’s superior or inferior, just that we approach things in different ways. And neutral means that we meet some where near the middle.

In my opinion your thoughtful response was nice and full of humanity…”quality of being human, nature, race, kindness, benevolence.” This offered to those who say do not understand me.

Too bad few of you not closer. Invite ya over for good food/barbeque, swim in pool. You could be the D.J.!

    Scepticism is doubt, not cynicism.

Doubt is crucial to any judgement. Without doubt, a judgement is just a feeling.

Doubt isn’t the conclusion, by any means. If it was, it would be closer to cynicism. Doubt is just something we bring to bear when we are judging what we are told.

If someone comes shouting to me that God exists or doesn’t exist, that the world was created in seven days or took longer, that someone who calls themselves alfie is alfie or not, then I bring doubt to bear. I then make a judgement, but even then – especially then – there is still going to have doubt about it in my mind.

    To me, that’s sanity.
