I have had a fantastic time researching and editing questions, thanks to all who participated over the years.

thanks Jane, Rec Alco and everyone for your lovely messages it’s nice to be appreciated for all the work I did, I can’t believe it’s 7 months since I retired
The good news is I’m now on the waiting list for surgery on both my eyes, but I don’t know how long I’ve got to wait
The bad news is I sent my resignation letter to Martin a month before I retired, and have now done so at least 6 times, as of today I still have not had a reply or acknowledgement of my resignation, and the quiz prizes have not been given out to the charities so I don’t know what to do now.
Let’s hope he reads this and maybe he will reply but I doubt it, after 21 years of service I thought I might have got something but no.
If the site keeps going I will let you know if my eye surgery has been successful and I have my sight back

Gill has given here time FREELY to this site for years…the least you can do is acknowledge her letter and thank her!Mind you Gill… it’s fairly typical of Martin…when I was a host emails often went unanswered and not even acknowledged,,,and not just me..PB as well.. one reason I gave it up… hope you’re enjoying retirement… hope the eyes are ok.. 🙂
