    im an avid rangers fan but did we run our luk or what ,i tell you i dont know why he brought in some of the players he did but it just came off.Rodrigez was like a school ball defender ,these guys get paid plenty to defend and they didnt show that ……if we want to go any further then wee have to get the back 4 sorted and a steady middle of the park.once again it was bazza who got that final gross..

    To b fair A 3-2 win over Porto cant b scoffed at. I thought Porto were by far the better team but if the better team always won theyd b no point in playing Sport at all. I really cant see Rangers qualifying from this group though.
    If Rangers lose to Hearts next week they could go 11 points behind Hearts in the league as well. Thats a big gap to make up even though it aint even October.

    The SPL’s doing not too badly just now. Some good players coming through in the National Team, and Rangers and Celtic not dominating as much. Hearts putting in an early challenge in the league.
    When I see teams like Everton who finished 4th in the Premiership last season getting crushed in Romania. Well maybe ya league aint as strong as ya think it is. :)

    But, then again, our fourth placed team last year won the whole shooting match. In England there’s always one overachiever each year … Ipswich were the classic case. The sign of a healthy league, I think. Man City for me this year. In Scotland it’s once every twenty years or so…

    Everton have gone backwards this year, no doubt. England’s up there, I think, but I’d rate Spain as the best league. Every single team of theres seems to acquit themselves well in Europe.

    I wouldent say once every twenty years mate. Aberdeen and D.Utd both won it in the eighties. Hearts took Celtic to the last day in 86. Ditto Aberdeen and Rangers in 91. Hearts also were in the mix in 98. So there! Get ya figures right Spikey. :wink: =;
